Indiramma houses for weavers

KARIMNAGAR: Collector Sandeep Kumar Sultania promised to provide necessary training to powerloom weavers on modern looms and establish units for their economic empowerment at the ambitious textile park on the outskirts of Sircilla town.
The Collector visited Sircilla town, inspected the textile park and interacted with powerloom weavers. He said that the government is constructing about 2,400 houses under the Indiramma scheme for powerloom weavers near textile park. He said that they would also take measures for providing water supply to the housing colony at the park.
He also visited Sri Raja Rajeshwara Spinning Mill in Peddur on the outskirts of Sircilla and instructed the officials to recruit trained powerloom weavers in the spinning mill.
Assistant Collector Muthyala Raju, RDO Balaji and others were also present.
