ArcelorMittal to acquire U.S. coal firm


LONDON: ArcelorMittal on Monday signed an agreement to acquire the Mid Vol Coal Group of the U.S. Located in southwestern Virginia in the Central Appalachian coal basin, Mid Vol has estimated reserves and resources in excess of 85 million tonnes.
