NEW DELHI: The 28th edition of the annual swimming statistical bulletin will be released during the National sub-junior aquatics championship in Kolkata from June 26 to 30. The 240-page bulletin has six sections. Besides carrying records of all major international, National and State-level meets, the bulletin also has articles on sports diet, elementary treatment of sports injury etc. Significantly, the section dealing with the best Indian performances has been appropriately identified as “National records” thereby putting an end to the long-standing confusion in the swimming circle. The bulletin is compiled by V.K. Pahuja, a member of the International Swimming Statisticians Association and his daughter Meenakshi. — Special Correspondent
