Two killed in accident

Bangalore: Five persons were knocked down by a lorry on Monday night.
The incident occurred when the lorry’s brakes failed near the water tank on 16th Main in BTM Layout.
The police said that a woman died on the spot and another person died on way to hospital.
The condition of others is said to be critical. A case has been registered.
Hacked to death
Two persons were hacked to death on Ilyasnagar Main Road on Monday night.
The police gave the names of the victims as Rizwan (30) and Babu alias Mehaboob (40).
The police said that the two were attacked with lethal weapons.
