TIRUNELVELI: The Panagudi police have arrested two persons for allegedly circulating counterfeit currency notes. S. Nithyaraj of Chidambarapuram was arrested from a lodge at Panagudi and Rs.1 lakh worth of fake currency notes, in the denomination of Rs.1,000, were recovered. Based on information provided by him, Paulraj of Paeikulam was arrested. A huge number of fake currency notes were recovered from him too.
