Trains cancelled, diverted
HYDERABAD: The Guwahati-Secunderabad-Guwahati Expresses (on June 26 and 29 respectively) and Howrah-Vasco da Gama Amaravati Express (on June 24, 26, 28 and 30) are among the trains cancelled due to breaches caused by heavy rain in the Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of SER. A release issued by SCR here on Monday said nine other express trains were being cancelled during the next week and six trains diverted. The Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express will be terminated at Bhadrak and return as train no.8645 to Hyderabad until further advice.
Following the cancellation of Amaravati Express, the slip coach services between Kacheguda and Vasco da Gama by train nos. 7603/7604 expresses and connected by Amaravati Express will also be cancelled.
