CHENNAI: Ravichandran and Prakash Chandran split eight wickets, as Amedia Consultants defeated United India Insurance in the YSCA league-cum-knockout cricket tournament for the SSI Trophy.

The scores:

United India Insurance 99 in 25.3 overs (Ravichandran four for eight, Prakash Chandran four for 19) lost to Amedia Consultants 100 for seven in 16.1 overs (Jayakumar four for 39). Points: Amedia 5, United India 1.

Ashok Leyland Corporate 144 for nine in 30 overs (Lakshman 56) lost to Amedia Consultants 145 for six in 24.2 overs. Points: Amedia Consultants 4, Ashok Leyland Corporate 0.
