District chess championship
CHENNAI: The Chennai district chess championship for under-19 boys and girls will be held at the Nehru Stadium, here on June 28 and 29.
Only registered Chennai district players born on or after January 1, 1989 are eligible.
The tournament’s top four will represent Chennai district in the State junior (under-19) FIDE-rated chess championship to be held in July. Entries close at 5 p.m. on June 27.
