LJP MP, two others convicted in murder case

PATNA: Lok Jan Shakti Party MP Suraj Bhan Singh along with two others were convicted in a murder case and were remanded to judicial custody by a Begusarai court on Tuesday.

Conforming to the deadline set by the Patna High Court to conclude the trial by June 30, the fast track court of R.P. Dubey pronounced Suraj Bhan Singh, Jaijairam Singh and Radhe Singh guilty of murdering Rami Singh in his home in Madhurapur-Purvatola village under Tegra police station in Begusarai on January 16, 1992.
