Prince of Arcot meets Sonia

CHENNAI: The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, called on Congress president Sonia Gandhi, at her residence in New Delhi on Monday.
During the discussions, the Prince of Arcot, who is the president of the Ajmer Dargah Committee, apprised Ms. Gandhi of the current activities of and developments at the Dargah by the Committee. He said that the mandate was basically to provide security, need-based infrastructure and essential amenities to those who visit the holy shrine of the great Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. He invited Ms.Gandhi to visit the Ajmer Dargah.
Later, in the afternoon, the Prince of Arcot met Leader of the Opposition L. K. Advani at his residence in New Delhi.
