Transformer thieves arrested

ANANTAPUR: The district police nabbed a six-member gang allegedly involved in theft of transformers installed in agriculture fields here on Tuesday and seized about 160 kg of copper blocks made out by melting copper cable used for winding in the transformers. The estimated value of the copper seized was stated to be about Rs. One lakh,
