Rosaiah’s poser to Goud

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Finance Minister K. Rosaiah has posed a question to T. Devender Goud on the latter’s criticism that Telangana region was looted right from Independence.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, the Minister asked Mr. Goud whether he had made any effort during the last 22 years of his presence in the Telugu Desam Party to stop this looting if he felt that Telangana remained backward due to this looting. He contended that backwardness of the region was due to neglect by successive governments and not on account of any other reasons. The Minister said that for the first time several initiatives were taken by the Rajasekhara Reddy government .
