Cairn begins work on pipeline


NEW DELHI: Cairn India on Tuesday began work on laying India’s first heated and insulated 585 km pipeline that will transport crude oil from Barmer in Rajasthan to Salaya in coastal Gujarat from next year. The pipeline work was done by Cairn India Chairman Bill Gammell at Bevta in Banaskantha district.
