NEW DELHI: The Basketball Federation of India is confident that the forthcoming NBA-backed ‘Basketball Without Borders’ will immensely benefit the youngsters chosen for the camp. Five junior players — Hirendera Singh Rathore, Shadab Khan, Pratham Singh, Arjun Singh and Vishesh Bhrigvansh — have been selected for the camp here from July 3 to 6. According to India’s foreign coach Alexander Bucan, the boys have the potential to make it to the big league following the interaction with NBA greats like Sam Perkins and Dominique Wilkins. The BFI has great expectations from these youngsters and hopes that they will form the nucleus of the Indian team for the Asian Basketball Confederation Championship to be held in Iran from August 28 to September 5.
