Found dead

CHENNAI: A 64-year-old watchman was found dead on Tuesday morning in an apartment complex in Vadapalani where he was employed.

Police said Periasamy was found dead by his son Balaji around 5.30 a.m. Balaji informed his brother Ramachandran who then complained to the police.

Police said no jewellery, cash or any other valuables were missing from the apartment complex.

Police have registered a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the Criminal Procedure Code. Further investigation is on.
