Prabhu and Appa Rao shine
VIJAYAWADA: D. Prabhu Kiran’s 147 helped ACA Secretary’s XI score as commanding 403 against ACA President’s XI in the three-day selection match for ACA Central Zone seniors’ for S. Mastan Rao Memorial Trophy at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium here on Tuesday.
Left arm spinner V.V.V. Appa Rao of President’s XI was the pick of the bowlers with seven for 116. At stumps, President’s XI was 93 for four.
The scores: President’s XI 253 and 93 for four in 36 overs vs. Secretary XI 403 in 87 overs (D. Prabhu Kiran 147, Manoj Sai 53, V.V.V. Appa Rao seven for 116).
