Jewel assessor training course

PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry Institute of Co-operative Management will conduct jewel assessor training course from July 2.

According to a press release, the course would deal with basic information about gold, method to calculate the cost of gold, means to detect the types of jewels, hallmarking and various other techniques dealing with jewels. The duration of the course is 100 hours.

Those who have completed Class X and are above the age of 18 years are eligible to enrol in the course. It would be conducted on Saturday and Sunday for eight weeks. Interested persons can obtain application forms from the centre and submit the filled-in forms with the course fee of Rs. 2,580. Applications would be issued till June 30.
