Medical corpus set up for media persons

Lucknow: Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi launched a media-medical corpus in the city to provide financial assistance and aid to media persons and their families.

The scheme to provide loans and aid for the medical needs of journalists was initiated by Media-Nest, an organisation working for the welfare of media persons and their families.

Secretary General of Media-Nest and senior journalist Kulsum Talha said the funds for the purpose would be collected through donations and fund raising events.
