Sahebganj: A local court on Wednesday sentenced two persons to life imprisonment in a murder case in Jharkhand. The additional district and sessions judge Rai Bhawani Nandan Sahay also imposed fine of Rs.40,000 against the two. The duo were convicted in the killing of a person on December 26, 2003 at his residence at Jharna colony here after he denied to part with his tractor. The FIR was filed by the victim’s wife. Three more accused have been absconding since the crime was committed.
