‘Fertilizers available’

ERODE: Traders of Erode Mavatta Vivasaya Iduporul Vyaparigal Sangam, fertilizer traders’ association, have assured the farmers in the region of adequate stock of fertilisers necessary for the current season.

In a press release that was issued here, the traders said that the 3,300 tonnes of urea, 3,200 tonnes of DAP (di-ammonium phosphate), and 2,000 tonnes of potash, the Agriculture Department had supplied the traders, was available with them for sale.

Farmers need not panic, the release said and added that for the ensuing August-September season too the traders would make arrangements for adequate supply of fertilisers to farmers.
