Women’ s panel takes up 27 cases at adalat

KOZHIKODE: As many as 27 cases were taken up for consideration by the Kerala State Women’s Commission at an adalat here on Wednesday. A majority of the cases that came up for hearing at the adalat, presided over by T. Devi, commission member, related to property disputes.

An elderly woman complained that her children had taken possession of her property and she had no place to live. The commission directed to take over the property.
