Commission calls for statements

BANGALORE: The Justice Kedambady Jagannatha Shetty Commission, constituted to inquire into the recent riots and police firing in Haveri, has called for statements of people and organisations acquainted with the incident. The statements, accompanied with sworn affidavits, should reach the commission by July 31. In a release here on Tuesday, M.J. Indra Kumar, secretary to the commission, said the statements can be sent by registered post to the commission located on the 21st Floor of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Major Tower, Ambedkar Veedhi. — Staff Reporter
