Axe falls on top officials of the Authority

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Government on Wednesday reshuffled the top brass of the Lucknow Development Authority, including its Vice-Chairman, Ram Bahadur, and removed the State Principal Secretary (Housing), Harminder Raj Singh. They have been given relatively insignificant postings. All the development authorities in the State are under the Housing Department.

Mr. Singh has been sent to Allahabad as Member (Judicial), Board of Revenue. Mr. Ram Bahadur has been posted as Additional Commissioner in Moradabad Division.

Mr. Singh has been replaced by the Principal Secretary, Small Industries and Textile Department, B. Rajgopalan.

Director, State Urban Development Agency, Mukesh Kumar Meshram, will be the new Vice-Chairman of the Lucknow Development Authority. The Joint Secretary of the Authority, Y. K. Shukla, has been transferred as Deputy District Consolidation Officer, Ghazipur.
