dated June 26, 1958: Freedom of the Press

In a statement on June 24 the Commonwealth Press Union said that it had sent a cable to the Prime Minister of Ceylon, Mr. S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike, protesting against the recently imposed censorship of incoming and outgoing news by the Government on account of the communal disturbances.
