Debasish Nayak, 10th ranker of HSC examination, with his mother and father in Berhampur on Wednesday. — BERHAMPUR: The students of different Saraswati Vidya Mandir schools of the city have shined again in the secondary school board examination conducted by the Orissa Board of Secondary Education (BSE) As per the results of the examination declared on Wednesday, Bimal Prasad Panda of Gosani Nuagaon Saraswati Vidya Mandir of the city topped the merit list. Four students from the city along with Bomal were in the top 10 positions. And all of them were from Saraswati Sishu Mandir Schools. It may be noted that 10 students of Saraswati Vidya Mandirs were in the top ten list. Debasish Nayak of Ramahari Nagar Sarasati Vidya Mandir of the city was in the fourth position. Asutosh Moharana in the sixth rank and Debasish Nayak in the tenth rank were from the Nilakanthanagar Saraswati Vidya Mandir of the city. All of these toppers were all praise for teaching pattern of their schools which enabled them to excel. New schoolThe Gosani Nuagaon Saraswati Vidya Mandir is a new school and the second batch from the school had appeared for secondary school board examination this year. Yet a student of the school, Bimal could top in the state. All the three schools registered hundred per cent over all result in secondary school examination, which again is an achievement. The Nilakanthanagar Saraswati Vidya Mandir is having 100 per cent pass out result in the secondary school board examination since 1992 with most of the students passing in the first division. The students of the school have found position in the top 10 list merit list for nine consecutive years. Headmaster of the Nilakanthanagar school S.Mohan Rao and headmaster of the Gosaninuagaon school Narayan Panda attribute their academic success to the planned teaching pattern at the schools and the dedication of teachers. Their system of clubbing students of different calibre together for the examination preparations also helps in the overall improvement of all students and proper revision of the genius. The students are prepared from the beginning of the session rather than over burdening them before the examination.
