It’s all about being ruthless, says Dhoni

Karachi: Indian skipper M.S. Dhoni hinted that there are no free lunches in international cricket. “It’s all about being ruthless. It’s all about going out there and winning be it Pakistan or Bangladesh or Hong Kong. If Hong Kong has qualified for this tournament, they are good enough to be here and I am happy with the way we played,” Dhoni said in the post-match press conference.

Dhoni also said that the best available combination will be fielded against Pakistan on Thursday. “It’s a big match and we will field our best team.”

Dhoni added that Irfan Pathan will have a fitness assessment prior to the match. However, the Indian skipper sounded sceptical over Pathan’s recovery from a side strain. — Principal Correspondent
