SRM Academy takes title
CHENNAI: SRM Academy (Chennai) emerged triumphant in the State-level ball badminton tournament, organised by Pattabiram Ball Badminton Club, here recently.
SRM Academy beat Soya Sakthi (Coimbatore) 29-22, 29-12 in a crucial super league tie to clinch the title.
As many as 17 teams from all over the State took part in the tournament.

Super League: SRM Academy bt Soya Sakthi 29-22, 29-12; bt TBBC (Tiruvottiyur) 29-21, 29-18; bt Srinivasa Memorial (Ambattur) 29-17, 29-11; Soya Sakthi bt TBBC 29-27, 29-11; bt Srinivasa Memorial 29-22, 29-16; TBBC bt Srinivasa Memorial 29-7, 29-10.
