Environment Day celebrated

PUDUCHERRY: The Government Girls High School, Kalapet celebrated the World Environment Day recently.

The role of students in conserving the environment was emphasised during the celebrations. A monthly journal of National Green Corps, which consisted of information on environment conservation and essays on awareness creation, was released on the occasion, said a press release.
