Training for sanitary workers

PUDUKOTTAI: The government will impart specialised industrial training to sanitary workers and their relatives through the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravida Housing and Development Corporation (THADCO) shortly.

Committee formed

A committee led by the District Manager, THADCO has been formed to select the beneficiaries for this programme being implemented under the Sanitary Workers’ Welfare Scheme.

Selection on July 3

The Committee will select the beneficiaries at 10 a.m. on July 3 at the THADCO office here.

A press release of Collector Reeta Harish Thakkar called on the sanitary workers to take full advantage of this scheme.

Financial assistance

The banks will provide financial assistance with subsidy to the beneficiaries of this programme.

A team of officials led by Revenue Divisional Officer will select the beneficiaries at THADCO office at 10 a.m. on July 7.

The eligible candidates can participate in the camp, the release added.
