Two get life term for murder

Krishnagiri: The Krishnagiri First Additional District Sessions Court on Thursday awarded life imprisonment to two persons for murder. The prosecution case was that Govindan (32) of Osathotti, near Anchetti, and his friend Mallesh (30) reportedly murdered Dadappa (48) of Mariyalam village on October 15, 2006 following a family dispute. After hearing the arguments judge Kumaraguru sentenced Govindan and Mallesh to life imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs. 2,000. In default of payment they shall serve three more years in prison.
