PMK hails JIPMER autonomy

PUDUCHERRY: Activists belonging to the Pattali Makkal Katchi on Thursday took out a rally here to welcome the Union government’s decision to confer autonomy to JIPMER here.

The rally was flagged off by founder-leader of PMK S. Ramadoss at a point 500 metres away from JIPMER in Gorimedu. Party president G.K. Mani, leader of the Parliamentary party M. Ramadass, party’s Lok Sabha representative from Tindivanam Dhanraj, representatives in the Puducherry Assembly R.K.R. Anantharaman and P. Arulmurugan were present.
