Bhavani boy second in engineering list

ERODE: S. V. Manojkumar of Kalingarayanpalayam, near Bhavani, has secured second spot in engineering entrance list, which the State Government released on Wednesday.

Son of an Aavin employee, with centums in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, has the second place among the seven first rank holders. All the seven students have cut off marks of 200 and their ranking is based on the date of birth. Mr. Manojkumar said his Plus Two marks, 1179/1200 were not a surprise, nor was the place in the entrance list.

He said he would pursue electronics and communication engineering at Anna University, Chennai, and thereafter go in for management studies from one of the IIMs.
