Fed holds rates steady

WASHINGTON: The U.S. Federal Reserve held interest rates steady on Wednesday and signalled it was in no hurry to raise them, even as it voiced greater concern about inflation. The decision by the U.S. central bank left the benchmark overnight Fed funds rate at 2 per cent.
