Powerless life
‘Load shedding’ is in the air and the city folks are gearing up to meet any contingency. Housewives are the most worried lot — reasons being many. For one, there will be a break in viewing their favourite serials on the television; for another, the fear of thieves who can make good their escape, thanks to the darkness. The traders and merchants are also a worried lot, as power shutdown would cut into their business.
