‘Tie-up with IT firms planned’
Special Correspondent
Bangalore: The State Government is planning a tie-up with software technology companies to provide computer education to undergraduate students of government arts, science and commerce colleges, Minister for Higher Education Arvind Limbavali has said.
He told presspersons here on Thursday that the Government would shortly hold discussions with software companies and their assistance would be sought in providing computer education to all undergraduate students of government colleges.
“It is not that the software companies require only engineers.
“They also need other graduates for a variety of other work,” the Minister said.
