Varsha wins gold

BANGALORE: Varsha Singh prevailed over S. Geetha Rani Devi and claimed gold in the senior girls’ fin weight final of the National Open taekwondo championship here on Thursday.

The results (all finals): Men: Lightweight: 1. Sachin T. Kodre (Mah), 2. Jaman Singh (SSCB), 3. Dinesh (CISF) & Kamlesh Sharma (CISF). Junior boys: Finweight: 1. S. Mahaboob Basha (AP), 2. S. Farahtullah (AP), 3. Amar Viswakarma (Jhar) & Tara B. Thapa (Jhar).
