United Bank signs pact with Myanmar banks

KOLKATA: The Kolkata-based United Bank of India (UBI) has signed agreements with three foreign banks for facilitating border trade between India and Myanmar. A UBI release said that these agreements were signed with the Myanmar Foreign Trade Bank, Myanma Investment and Commercial Bank and Myanmar Economic Bank at Yangon in the presence of the Indian Minister of State for Commerce and Power Jairam Ramesh. — Special Correspondent
