Book on human rights

KOCHI: The Minister for Labour P.K. Gurudasan will release a book titled “A Legendary Battle for Human Rights” by E. X. Joseph, senior advocate, Supreme Court and former secretary general of All India Audit and Accounts Association here on Saturday.

He will also speak on “challenges and problems facing workers and workers’ movement today”, at a public meeting. The programme is being organised by V.K. Krishna Menon Educational Initiative in association with other organisations, including the Confederation of Central Government Employees.

V. R. Krishna Iyer, former judge, Supreme Court, will preside over the meeting and receive the first copy.
