SMGB publishes list of debt waiver beneficiaries

MALAPPURAM: South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB) has begun publishing the list of beneficiaries of the bank’s Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme 2008. The list is being published in respective branches.

The first list of beneficiaries was published at SMGB Pulikkal branch. Chief General Manager of NABARD Kerala Circle Bhavar Puri, released the list.

Chairman of SMGB N.S. Bose, said that all branches would publish the lists before Saturday. About 53,000 borrowers of the bank in Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur, Palakkad and Pathanamthitta districts would benefit from the scheme.
