Vigilance raid at RTO

MALAPPURAM: Officers of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a raid on the Regional Transport Office here on Friday afternoon. No major findings were reported even as the raid continued late in the evening. The Vigilance officers seized some registration certificates and applications for scrutiny. Currency to the tune of Rs.1,000 was seized from a shelf. A sum of Rs.150 was found abandoned outside the office window.
