Shastri National Award for Sreedharan

NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Managing Director E. Sreedharan has been chosen for the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence in Public Administration, Academics and Management-2008.

Announcing this on Friday, the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, former Union Minister Anil Shastri, said: “Dr. Sreedharan has been selected for this honour in recognition of his pioneering work in the field of engineering and public transportation.”
