Award for Tulasi Munda

BHUBANESWAR: Keonjhar’s tribal lady social worker Padma Shri Tulasi Munda will be conferred the annual Kadambini Award for 2008.The award, instituted by Kadambini family feature magazine in Oriya, carries a cash of Rs.25, 000 besides a plaque and a citation.

Also short story writer Bijay Nayak, poet Giribala Mohanty and feature writer Monalisa Jena will be awarded for publication of their works in the magazine. The awards will be given away during the magazine’s anniversary celebration at Jayadev Bhawan on July 2.
