HASSAN: H.D. Revanna, MLA, on Friday conducted a series of Jana Samparka Sabhas (mass contact programmes) in villages in Dudda and Shantigrama hoblis in Holenarsipur Assembly constituency. Addressing a gathering at Kabballi, Mr. Revenna directed officials to undertake road and drainage construction under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme so that village residents below the poverty line could get assured employment. He said that Rs. 5 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of a community hall in the village. Mr. Revanna announced that Rs. 2 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of community hall in Mudlapura village.
