Woman duped

DAVANGERE: A woman was duped of gold worth Rs. 90,000 by two persons in Vidyanagar Extension on Thursday. According to the police, the accused entered Yashodamma’s house on the pretext polishing gold jewellery. She gave them gold jewellery worth Rs. 90,000 to polish. They requested her for some water and fled with the jewellery when she went to get water. The Vidyanagar police are investigating.
