Karaikal peaceful

KARAIKAL: No untoward incident was reported in Karaikal town in the Union Territory of Puducherry on Friday although there were reports of law and order problem in Puducherry following rumours that Chief Minister N.Rangasamy resigned.

However, police pickets were posted at important places like bus stand and bazaar in the town as a precautionary measure.
