BHUBANESWAR: The shortage of milk in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri is likely to be felt for second consecutive day even as the Orissa State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (OMFED) claimed to increase its milk procurement on Saturday. “We will be trying to increase our marketing of milk from 40,000 litres to 70,000 litres on Saturday,” Basant K Mishra, OMFED’s Deputy General Manager (marketing), said. Meanwhile, impasse over the strike continued. Employees staged agitation before Chandrasekharpur milk processing plant.
