Krishna restricts Prakasam

VIJAYAWADA: Krishna District restricted Prakasam to 107 for nine in the rain-marred two-day ACA Central Zone u-19 inter-district tournament for the Koka Ranga Rao Memorial Trophy here on Friday.

In another match, Guntur was 73 for no loss in 17 overs.

The scores: Prakasam 107 for nine in 43 overs (Vivek Raman three for 20) vs. Krishna.

Guntur 73 for no loss in 17 overs (Anil 42 batting) vs. West Godavari.

Semifinalists spotted

Commercial, Mechanical (C & W), Electrical Maintenance and Mechanical Diesel Loco Shed entered the semifnals of the Vijayawada Division inter-department volleyball tournament for the DRM Cup at Railway Institute here on Friday.

The semifinals and the final will be held on Monday.
