Airtel extends services

Krishnagiri: Mobile service provider Airtel has expanded its services in Krishnagiri district to include eight new towns in May. The towns added are Achettipalli, Gutur, Jeemangalam, Komaranapalil, Kurubarapalli, Kavagoundanur, Nandimangalam, Vasooty, thus connecting a total 16 census defined towns and 939 census villages in Krishnagiri district.
With this addition, Airtel covers 91 per cent of the population in the State with 765 towns and more than 19,00 villages. Says Rajiv Rajgopal, Chief Executive Officer, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Limited, Tamil Nadu: “We would continue to strengthening our network in the future, giving our customers the best service ever.”
