VILLUPURAM: Vice-Chancellor of Bharatidasan University (Tiruchi) M. Ponnavaikko has called upon fresh graduates to take up either jobs or self-help ventures with earnestness and win the confidence of employers and co-workers.
He was speaking at the sixth Graduation Day of Mailam Engineering College at Mailam, about 60 km from here, on Saturday.
Mere bookish knowledge would not help professionals and they ought to stay abreast of developments in their fields, he said.
