TIRUPATI: The State-wide ‘chaithanya yatra’ of the AP Vaddera Sangham began in Tirupati on Friday after an impressive rally from the Ambedkar statue to the venue. According to the state president, T. Dharmaraju Vaddera and the general secretary, Orsu Krishnaiah the ‘yatra’ across the State was intended to create awareness among the members of the community about their socio-economic problems. We must also achieve the ‘elusive’ political space we deserve in the State and the Central set-up as a community with a population of over 70 lakh in the State, the speakers at the convention said.
